We are seeking someone who is passionate about early childhood education, a motivated individual who is willing to go above and beyond for children and families and provide excellent customer service.

The Nest Schools is an early education and preschool program with a network of schools across the United States. Our team comprises long-time industry-leading experts committed to creating a new standard of excellence for the future of early childhood education.

 

As a Family Resource Specialist, you will be working closely with school directors, identifying ways to maximize enrollment at the school level and provide timely and efficient feedback to inquiring families. We are looking for an individual who can be a Nest Schools ambassador and share all the wonderful and unique opportunities that The Nest Schools offer to young children and their families.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have a experience working in an Early Childhood Education setting and/or childcare facility, have the ability to engage families using strength-based communication practices, demonstrate cultural and linguistic responsiveness, and listening skills. The Family Resource Specialist must be knowledgeable about a variety of topics that may be of interest to families, and have the ability to carry out the following essential functions of the job;

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Proactive on identifying enrollment opportunities
  • Take parent/family inquiries and provide accurate, satisfactory answers to their queries and concerns
  • Provide Information which is tailored to each individual family
  • Provide families with customized information about The Nest Schools (hours of operation, days of the week, locations, program philosophy, etc.) along with general knowledge of the center and individual program offerings
  • Guide callers through troubleshooting, navigating the company site or through scheduling a tour and the registration/enrollment process
  • Ability to collaborate with marketing on enrollment campaigns
  • Ability to collaborate with other family resource professionals to improve overall customer service
  • Responsible for monthly reporting
  • Review CRM accounts and keep up with action items
  • Assist in training new employees and inform them about The Nests family relation policies
  • Knowledge and understanding of/and willingness to learn
  • Location’s availability of childcare services
  • Developmentally appropriate practices in an Early Child Education setting
  • What to look for when choosing a high-quality education setting
  • General knowledge of state licensing and local requirements programs must adhere to
  • Basic skills in de-escalating situations involving dissatisfied families and recognizing situations which should be referred to another department lead for follow up Qualifications and Education 
  • CDA, Associates or Bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years' experience working in childcare setting as building administrator and/or classroom teacher preferred. Preferred Skills 
  • Strong communication, both written and verbal

  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Adaptability and flexibility
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environments
  • Troubleshooting skills
  • Computer literacy
  • Phone skills, including familiarity with complex or multi-line phone systems
  • In-depth knowledge of the Childcare industry
  • Expertise in quality customer service for families that we serve
  • Ability to speak Spanish preferred, but not required.

Qualifications

JOB SPECIFICS:

 

  • Full Time, M-F
  • Fully Remote
  • Experience in Childcare REQUIRED
  • CDA preferred 
  • Candidates in the states in which we operate will be considered first (CT, NC, SC, VA, GA, FL, TX, CO, IL, IN, OH)
  • Candidates in Mountain Time (MST, MDT) preferred, but not required

 

PAY:

  • 40k-45k annually

Pay Range

USD $40.00 - USD $45.00 /Yr.
